SPORTS EVENT COVERAGE

I can provide professional athletic therapy services to athletes at any age and level during sporting practices, games or events.

Athletic therapists are trained 1st responders who respond to emergency situations on the field to provide pre-hospital care medical emergencies. Athletic therapists provide emergency care, first aid, bracing, taping, stretching, ice, hydration and injury education to coaches athletes and parents. When an injury occurs we provide and respond to provide immediate on field care.  With a proper field assessment and having a high level of musculoskeletal and concussion knowledge, biomechanics and experiences in covering and participating in many sports in understanding the mechanisms of injury, athletic therapists can determine if an athletic can or cannot safely return to play.  We can provide proper education and at home advice management for athletes to allow them for quick recovery and prevention of injuries. Parents, coaches and spectators can rest easy knowing their athletes are in the proper care in the event of an emergency or a return to play decision with an athletic therapist on site.

First Responder Services include:

Site assessment and development of an  Emergency Action Plan
Prophylactic taping 
Pre and post game stretching

Warm up and cool downs
Injury assessment 
Basic emergency life support and first aid
When required, facilitating a safe return to participation.​​
